This hands-on two-day workshop is designed for complete beginners who want to learn the skills needed to design and make projects of their own.
In this workshop you’ll learn about the essential processes and tools that form the basis of all carpentry and woodworking projects. By working through the design and construction of your own timber wall-hung shelf, you’ll learn how to take a project from an initial idea through to a finished piece.
Skills covered in this workshop include;
Learning how to design, draw, and plan your project
Developing materials and cutting lists
How to measure and mark out your parts accurately and efficiently
How to use a wide range of hand and power tools including; drills and drivers, hand saws, power saws, drill press, router, sander, and more.
You’ll leave with a beautiful timber shelf to take home, along with practical skills to start making things on your own.
With a maximum class size of four there’s plenty of opportunity for one-on-one instruction, personalised guidance, and shared learning alongside others.
